What's the BEST gear oil to use replacing clutch and need to know what's the best oil to use
Bel ray gear saver is what i use they sell at yamaha dealer
Now I'm new to the forum but recently installed new clutch in my 06 and I did alot of digging on here and alot of guys were recommending type f atf I have to say I'm very impressed so far it deffinantly seems to grab alot better
Yes atf is also a great choice
Son uses Belray in his Banshee. I use Shell Rotella T-5 in Honda Foreman and Blaster.
Be sure to soak new plates in oil overnight
Used ATF before T-5, whatever I have LOL
Used B&M trick shift in T-500 drag bike.
Auto trans is clutches, gears, bearings ....... Sounds right.
Wonder why not Dexrom ???
Can use non-detergent motor oil, motor oil WITHOUT friction modifiers, tractor/dozer hydraulic oil.
it is only going to affect how long your clutch fibers steels stays good/seals
gear lube that is silly
