I have a fmf Powercore II for my siliencer and I was just cleaning it and noticed there is no spark arrester! is there one further up the pipe that i can't see or is there ever a spark arrester in Powercore II?!!! :-/

you could fashion a metal screen to serve as a spark arrestor, but it may not work if the place you ride requires the official US Forrest Service approved stamp on the silencer. Some places don't care about the stamp and just use a stick to check that the silencer isn't wide open.

I believe the FMF SST and Quietcore silencers have arrestors and are also USFS approved.

^^^^yeah...that's it. Not sure where I got SST.

The SST is a different bent version of all FMF pipes. I have the Turbine Core 2, I got it non-SST because I didn't need the more HP in the mid to upper range of my engine which is what the SST supposedly offers. Of course I haven't run the darn bike yet to see what kind of difference the silencer makes...but soon enough, I will.
