What type of Sandpaper. 600?

First, I used tape to mark where I wanted to cut. I measured, adjusted the tape, measured, then I measured again. When I liked what I saw and was certain it was even, I marked along the tape with a sharpie. I peeled the tape. I took the Dremel to it; a wide cutting blade along the longer cuts ensured a straight line. Then I took a Husky razor to the top and bottom of the edges to get it nice and cleaned up. Sanded the edges with 100, 150, 220, 400, 600, 800 and 1000 making sure the edges rounded similar to a stock edge. I'll post some close up of the cuts when I have time, but they do look like factory!

the fronts look good dude. i have been thinking of a shaving my fenders, but i think i'm going to buy an extra set for the front first.

Yah, I've been toiling the notion to put an aftermarket nose piece on to finish it up... but I think I'll save that one for later...

Ya know, people always rip on "why waste all that money on a Blaster bla bla bla...." Well, because I CAN, and I ENJOY it. Oh, and because my Blaster will stomp your double displacement four stroke... :)~

Okay so, I've received a little bit of negative feedback on the rear fenders. What exactly is it that you guys aren't diggin'? Any suggestions?

my suggestion is to leave them like they are. if you like them that's all that matters. they don't look too bad to me.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

I kinda like the way the rears compliment the cut of the front.

If the rears were any larger the fronts would look out of place.

They are certainly cut for looks and not for functionality, you would get filthy putting that sucker through mud.

See my avatar? Stock fenders did not help me much that day :)~ A winch almost didn't help either, but that's another story.....
