That's the HJR 265 with the new owner. It actually ripped the cylinder in half, the top end flew out of the frame....

The engine had been together since 1998 with lots hours on it (and it wasn't like they were really nice to it either).

With a 76mm piston, the aluminum around the sleeve is cut down pretty thin and the piston locked to the cylinder and split the cylinder clean in two. You can imagine that after they got done porting it to run like that there wasn't much sleeve left anyway....

At first it looks like it broke the mounting ears off the jug but upon closer inspection it actually ripped the cylinder in half....

is it a sleeve stuffed in a factory cylinder or is that cylinder piston a one time thing where would you get another piston if that happened just curious?
