I have a 98 blaster. Engine is stock but I have done a handful of upgrades. TORS system deleted last season along with oil inject system. New reeds last season.

Ran great all last season. Stored for winter with fuel stable and an empty carb. Pulled out a couple weeks ago and can't get the thing to drive. It dies while letting the clutch out in first. Rebuilt the carb but no luck (actually the float wouldn't close) so then I replaced the carb with one of the $55 Mikuni carbs from EBAY. idles great but as soon as I begin to let the clutch out it falls right on its face and dies. I though possible the main jet from the mikuni was wrong so swapped it for the main jet that ran great last season...no effect. I then thought maybe the clutch pack got "gunked" together while sitting for the winder so I tore that down, inspected the clutch disks (looked great) so I soaked in oil (keeping the same order they were removed) and reinstalled. Set the clutch adjuster to proper and replaced the clutch cable for good measure. All with no effect. Then I drained the fuel and put in fresh along with a plug just to cover those bases. Still no effect. I even re-verified the "black box" that you disconnect when deleting the TORs system was still disconnected (it was, and when plugged in the machine will not even idle).

I'm completely at a loss. Anybody have any ideas?

Thanks for reading.
