Black Rims

My son wants black rim on his blaster we are building for him. So what year did they come with black rims. I know I can paint them black but the paint doesn't stay on them if you ride in a rocky trails.

Maybe try and get them powder coated?

06 special editon are the only black rims I know of. I could be wrong though.

They only lasted 6 months before they look really bad.

How do you think stock ones were done? powder coating...

they didnt dye the metal.

you can always look at aftermarket options if the funds are available
