Personally what I have seen people do is put Yamaha banshee shocks on the front and a 400ex shock on the back but you will need to buy bushings online or something for the back, not the front tho. Should be pretty much a direct swap if you want to do it.

I picked up a rear shock from a ltz400 for 25$ on ebay and bought the Ken O'Connor spacers(website says the ltz400 fits as well as the 400ex).j found a set of works front banshee shocks on Craigslist for 150 and got him down to 75 So for under 150$ I am upgrading both front and rear I'll repost after I pick up and install it all and let you know how the difference is

So any updates with it?

I'm waiting for the rear shock to be delivered. I ran out of $ for the fronts. Boysen power reeds came yesterday and will go in tomorrow Took on its maiden voyage today. She runs good but needs a little adjusting After the reeds go in I will tune.
