banshee worth it??

i was thinking about gettin a banshee and i was wondering if its worth the 2000 or 3000 dollars :-/

Depends on the condition of the banshee. If it is safe to ride and runs strong, I'd say its worth the $2000+

ya its a 2002 and the mods are: Fresh motor, less than 10 hours, wiseco .030 over pistons, new crank, fmf gnarley exhaust, new intake, 35mm carbs, cool head, new clutch, tires and wheels, 6 gallon tank, and a moose racing bumper

the things i would do to it would be change the plastics, get a normal size tank, and nerf bars.
what do ya think??

Damn it looks clean! Looks like a good deal to me, I'd try talking him down maybe $200, just because you can.

Looks like a really nice banshee, I say go for it.

Might be worth 2 but not 3000. I would want to see paper on new parts. Do comp test. Check suspension good. If you start finding worn parts start knocking off the price.

I sure wouldnt put 2K in something like that with little aftermarket goodies and mis matched plastics.

I was thinking the same plus the only aftermarket items I see are pipes and an ill fitting gas tank.

yea its 2400 and id try to talk him down to maybe 1800
and im lookin for a mostly stock banshee

Be patient. Sooner rather than later you will find a clean one in your price range, i wouldnt consider that one and i price banshees all the time looking for another project.

This is a very nice Banshee with lots of new parts that i am going to list starting with new wheels and tires(holeshots on douglas 190s) new plastic, new v force 3 reeds, new k&n filters with outerwears, new shock covers, new mattoon clutch lockup with clear lexon quick change clutch cover, new billet high flow water pump with billet easy drain water pump cover, new blue silicon radiator hoses, new shock covers, new front and rear bumpers, new rear skid plate, new stage 3 cdi box, new billet gas cap and brake resevoir caps, new graphics, and new brakes all around.
Now the motor... bought it used so i dont know much about it just that it runs strong. It has a chrome billet cool head and 35 mm carbs

thats what it says, so what do u think???
