I'm doing a leakdown test and there is air coming from a vent tube near the air intake manifold. I can't find anything about what it is or where the leak is actually coming from. I assume it's a crack in the case from the cylinder to the trans but I'm not sure. Can someone please tell me how to fix this leak?!?!

First thing to do is find EXACTLY where the leak is.
Could be a crank seal, or case halves could be leaking.drain oil or tip it on it's side ,pull cluch cover and spray crank seal with soapy water.

If one seal is bad, the other can't be far behind. If you consider the age of these, consider it a maintenance item.
Worked on one that had virtually sucked the trans dry, though owner never mentioned excess smoke.
Was actually my first experience with a runaway engine.
