Bike started 3rd kick after a good carb prime. I guess you can't test shift it on a bench unless u got the hands of hurcules . Bike has lots of torque!! Might up a size in countershaft sprocket to help longevity speed. May reject to 290 or 300. Have a 280 in her and header gets way to hot to fast. Also anything special for break in on new bearing, seals, and crank? Was thinking about taking her easy for the next whole tank of gas.

Do your 3 heat cycles. Then retouqe head and cylinder base.like you said take it alittle easy for first tank.
After that plug chop to confirm jetting.
14t on the front is ok if you don't ride tight trails. Or put a 38t on the rear with the stock 13t up front
