I want to replace the rims on my 2004 Blaster. I kind of want 10" diameter rear wheels. What are the advantages and disadvantages to running 10" rims over 9", aside from higher cost?

    go with 9's
i went with 10's because i found a good deal on my favorite tire, but now my tire choices are limited

10's look so cool IMHO lol. But 9's are cheaper and they do have a greater range of tire selection. What width and offset should I go with? I plan to buy either a Banshee axle or a Tusk adjustable axle. I only ride it recreationally and I do not jump it. I have almost brand new RAZR's on the stock rims and I love the tire and plan to purchase the same for the new wheels in either 20 or 21" diameter.

I like the look of the 9". 10's make it look like a utility quad with the same size rims front to back but that's just my opinion.

There 10's on the back? It must be the tires. I've seen other pics with 10's and didn't like the look.

I think it looks pretty cool. Utility quad haha. I'll be looking for 9" rims. I'll probably pick up some decent stock banshee rims for now, but i really want something with a design in the center like a shamrock or something, instead of just a circle.

I wish I could find the gold banshee wheels in good shape. I think they are a pretty nice color to contrast with my blue but my frame is still silver. and AWk I like the bells shape on the aftermarket rims not really how the banshee steps on the outer edge. But if I buy some silver bansee stockers then i'll just polish the hell out of them and be happy. Or maybe i'll buy black wheels.

I like the 9"s because of the options (yfz, banshee, warrior, raptor) and affordability.

I also like the rolled-lip yamaha rims because they're super strong and can take a beating. For example, two weeks ago I came off the top of a ridge, landed on all fours, but a huge boulder was in the trail. I swerved to miss it but plowed the outer edge of my tire/rim into it. The collision moved the boulder off the trail, caused me to do a low speed crash where I fell off and the quad rolled over (me). My tire side wall ripped a 1.5" hole through it and black paint fell off the rim where it flexed.....but amazingly the rim did not bend or dent.
