im trying to do a budget build with a blaster, but I want a 3mm stroker. Could I do just the stroker crank and not the $500 240 top end? Also, how much power would I be loosing versus the entire 240 kit?

That's how I did mine. Can't say how it'd be with a stock cylinder as mine was already ported by me. Heavily ported. I'm considering removing the spacer plate and having a stroker head cut because it's quite peaky. I'm old as dirt and need to slow down a little bit.
