New stator, new coil, stock jetting, new top end, new spark plug, new cdi, tors is removed any ideas
Flywheel key good? On tight?
Too much fuel in the crankcase!
Flywheel Is tight, no fuel in the crankcase
what brand stator?
if you paid 30bucks for it new it is junk, and wont work lol
reeds? check them sitting flat,no cracks, chips
and your sure the tors was properly deleted?
I bought the stator from rmstator, cost about 100 bucks.reeds are good triple checked. I just took the head and cylinder off to double check piston was installed correctly and verified crankcase was void of fuel
not revving and backfiring is this
tors is effin up electrical
stator is effein up electrical
reeds is effin up
timing is effin up electrical
....what was the reason it stopped running so well do you know?
you might have to follow the electrical trouble shooting
did you ever get a compression test?
Bought it with a trashed top end ,top end is new
it really sounds like the tors
or the stator
everyone on here recommends the oem stators
but what the heck do i know
Check flywheel thats its correct. Just because it is tight doesnt mean the timing cant be off. Check to be sure the woodruf key isnt sheared.
Stators that start with an R have a bad rep around here. Oem is best. Is the slide on the carb working correctly
It was the stator, two aftermarket ones where bad ,oem is good, thxs, lol
we have a winner
Which brand were they specifically?
Separate names with a comma.
