So I’ve had this blaster since new, i rode her hard for years and now she is finally getting all the attention that she deserves. Here’s the list of updates/upgrades

Full flight +3 arms
full hydro brakes - yfz front spindles/hubs/brakes.. raptor rear caliper and master
yfz front shocks
400ex rear shock
Swingsrmshop +3 round carrier swing arm
Banshee carrier, axle, sprocket hub and brake hub.
New wheels
New tires
Alba nerf bars
Alba bumper
Alba grab bar
Rental bars

this quad was handed down to my oldest daughter and she is stoked to have it.. I’m stoked to finally afford to make it so much better. Once I figure out what app to use to upload pics I’ll get some going

This is the what I have to start with. I have since Pulled all the plastics off and gave it a good cleaning. First time in years that has happened.

I got the nerf bars, bumper, grab bar on. Deleted the oil injection. Tons of parts on order still. Just playing the waiting game. Says my photos are too large to upload.. someone throw me some assistance

So major bummer… my front yfz shocks came today. And I guess the set I bought is a 18” e2e length and the blaster build needs 16”…. Pretty much a kick in the balls. I had no idea that there were 2 different length of shocks for those damn things.

Waiting on wheels….. delivery date of July 27.. what app can I use to upload pics.. site says to big to upload..

So I ended up returning the yfz450r shocks because they were to long.. so I’m now torn between doing a extended swingarm and the rear end or doing some elka shocks. With the money I have for the build at this time I can do either or…

I am leaning towards the swingarm and axle for now. Than later doing suspension up front… thoughts?

Well I ended up buying the +2 round housing swingarm today. Along with a carrier and brake hub. My daughter and I decided going that route would be better first and upgrade suspension in the near future.

Waiting on wheels and swingarm. I haven’t put much on the bike. Waiting for all parts to arrive. Still don’t know how to post pics….. I advice from anyone. I looked at all the how to post pics but they are so old and not relevant anymore.

I take pictures from a bit farther away then zoom in on them by cropping. Do one at a time as well.

Well got just about everything in on Thursday for the build. The shocks are all getting valve and sprung for my daughter when everything is bolted up. The local suspension tech is a race tech certified technician so it will be going to him for the work. The only thing I don’t have sorted is the rear brake. My buddy with the welder is out riding in Colorado for a month so that will be a future project. I will try and post pics here, would be nice to show progress.

I luck on pictures guys.. seriously any help would be really cool. I have read through the old how to post pics threads nothing is current

Not having much luck with the +3 arms. I cannot get the toe right. They are so toed in its ridiculous. Guess I’ll keep scratching my head and maybe contact them to see what they suggest.

Well found out how to add pics finally. I’m not all that tech savvy. Here is the before pics
