    REPAIR Act

Hey Blaster forum, I wanted to encourage you to look into the REPAIR Act, which is a bill proposed in the United States Congress that would require vehicle manufacturers to make service information available to people who want to service their own vehicles, to independent repair shops who are...

    30mm pwk,100w stator,oil block off,etc etc

Yep Luni is right, there are plenty of rebranded Keihins around now, some even have the embossed "Keihin" on the slide, still not a guarantee of authenticity. To make it easy on this one, I'm almost certain that Keihin never made any 30mm PWK's, if they did make a genuine 30mm I've never seen...

    22x11x8 ITP Mudlites too big?

Banshee and Blaster hubs have different bolt patterns but the same splines so they're interchangeable. Just take the hubs off your stock axle and swap them to the banshee axle. I'm also interested in running 22's but I had the same fear, the possibility that they would rub. I have 8 inch...

    carb leaking AGAIN

That's a classic sticky float valve. The valve wears out and doesn't open and close properly when the fuel level moves up and down. It's usually not easy to see with the naked eye unless it is really old or worn, in which case the pointy rubber seal will be dry and shriveled or cracked...

    TOR's problems..

The ability to rev up without load suggests it's probably not TORS, not electrical, and not timing related. Either way the tors system is a frustrating piece of trash so I suggest a complete removal asap. As far as the current problem, my primary suspicion points to low compression. I'd also...

    i need you guys opinion

I've never seen ATV tires as bald as those before, whoever is selling this clearly rode it hard and never did anything in terms of maintenance, or even basic care. He says he doesn't know what's wrong, blew the engine and he thinks it's the bottom end, if he's right then both bottom and top...

    bogin down

Sounds like a sticky float valve. You're burning all the fuel in the float going up through 1st 2nd and 3rd, then once the float bowl is empty and the valve is stuck mostly shut, there's not enough fuel to feed the motor unless you wait a few for the bowl to slowly fill back up. At least...

    leaf blower after washing quad

Good time saver in a climate controlled garage, and I assume they use an electric blower, but being a guy who washes his cars out in the driveway I'm leery of blowing dust and debris at 400+ CFM on any gloss surface that I care about. Great for the scuffed up blasty though.

    leaf blower after washing quad

Haha Nice one. There's some creative uses for a leaf blower aside from clearing leaves. If you've ever heard of the leaf blower turbo charger you'll know what I mean, if not, check youtube. Personally I use mine to clean my vacuum cleaner's air filter, works much better than compressed air.

    Considering 22 inch Tires

So I am currently running 18 inch Holeshots and they are highly impractical for my riding style/terrain (mostly rutted hills and mud). I picked them up for $50 for the pair with good tread and Baja Rims, it was too cheap to pass on. Anyway, I want to make my gearing wider and increase ground...

    Chain size

The Diamater is 1 inch different, but diameter is not relevant to your speed, it is circumference that's important. Circumference = (2)(3.14159)(Radius) Radius = (1/2)(Diameter) (2)(3.14159)(10.5) = ~65.97 inch circumference on 21 inch tires (2)(3.14159)(10) = ~62.83 inch...

I'm running a 270 main in the stock carb,, stock pilot, stock needle position, airscrew at stock position 1.5 turns from bottom. Motor runs just right, not too rich not too lean. Mods are: FMF Gold series pipe w/shorty silencer, modded airbox lid (hole cut, prefilter installed, and removed...

    clutch cable and lever

Does the terminator cable make a worthwhile difference over a decently maintained stock cable? Also, what EZ-pull system are you using? The moose one seems interesting but there are mixed reviews on it. Denniskirk.com - Moose Easy Pull Clutch System
