    dirt bike

I was thinking the same, as much as I love 2 strokes I think learning of a 4stroke would be easier than transition over when I"m more comfortable

    dirt bike

trials mostly but a little jumping may no be enirely out of the question, although it will be a long while for that, still don't hardly jump the blaster,

    dirt bike

So this summer if funds do allow I'm wanting to be a dirt bike and try to learn to ride. My question is what is a good starter bike. I don't wanna go to big and kill my self but I do want something that I can haul me around, I'm pretty close to 300#'s, and still have some get up and go when I...

    Yamaha Moto 4 225 Manual

Ive been looking for one for a year or so and haven't found one, my gf's smokes like a frieght train, but it still runs strong, the thing is a tank

this kick starter is starting to tick me off

there is a clip that is kind moon shaped that snaps around the gear and has a small loop that is suppose to go into a hole on the case, so simple not really sure how it works, but I know after mine broke I have had the same problems, maybe your is broke/missing as well

    Whats your "other" hobby?

Have you thought about .300 AAC blackout? its a little hard to find (its best if you reload) but I would take it over most anything else in a AR type platform. otherwise 7.62x39 would be my first choice if you want a good round that is cheap, 6.5 creedmoor if ammo prices is not much of a...

Blasty joys, headaches mixed with fun

OOO but this does remind me not all was well coming home, I forgot to ask, pretty sure its not from jetting, but I'm not to sure that its not sucking the fuel bowl dry. First noticed this problem on the way, but since I don't run 3/4-full throttle in 6th gear very often I didn't think much...

Blasty joys, headaches mixed with fun

Probably not anytime soon. The plug chop came out good just not quite as rich as I was expecting, so if it was loose when I did the run then it was a slight leak and tightening it just makes it that much better. And it didn't sound like it was running to lean like it was when I figured out it...

    real big problem

If it ran before the timing change move it back, even go as far as puting the stock plate back on if you think you have multiple problems, If it was a timing issue that will fix it, if it wasn't well then you just remove one of the variable that it could have been.

Blasty joys, headaches mixed with fun

First of last week Did another chop with the 280 and it was running lean, and noticed my air box lid had pulled up. since all of hte press is nuts had pulled out before we got it, you could really fasten it down well. So I said to hell with it and pitched it and slapped a 310 main in the carb...

    should i 450?

I would do it as long as it didn't cost me anything other than time. Its always fun to jump on a 4poke and beat on it for a bit, especially a 450 the power is quite rediculous, but I just have a spot in my heart for 2 strokes.

    Warrior

Don't let size fool you, i'm 300 and the blaster hauls my ass around just fine, I would definetly pick up a warrior if the price was right. It would be good to put around on, and the are pretty hard to beat up. I've been trying to find one cheap for a while for when I just want to jump on...

    good deal or bad

Doesnt' look bad, definetly go and look it over with a fine toothed comb, if a missing silencer is all that is wrong with it, I would pick it up for that.

    mud tires on the blasty

22in Carlyle strykers, Not to terrible I like them for what they are, side knobbies grab a little to much though for sliding through turns which I don't like, when the catch it makes for a fun/not so fun ride, lol and that is with half of them cut out.

    Would you buy this?

haha I wasn't seeing things. the list looks nice, but that pic makes me wonder. Even if I could see it and ride it I don't know that I would spend 2300 on it, one thing that I like is personalization, So I would rather pay a couple hundered on a "rough" blaster and drop the money to fix it...

    Front Brakes?

yep stopping takes a fair bit. Sadly the only time I have really wrecked was when the front brakes did work trying to stop and the rear end tried to overtake the rear and I ran over myself, lol. I need to get new pads, didn't figure they would be wore out with more than a 1/4in of pad left...

Oil 2 stroke an gear oil?

I've been using pennzoil 2 stroke mix atm cause I ran out of klotz, and haven't ordered anymore the only thing I don't like about klotz is that it doesn't have a color adder, so I screwed up 2 gallons of fuel by adding to much oil because I forgot that I had already mixed it. I have been...
