no its a used carb but i rebuilt it. I talked to awk08 and Ken occonor and I think I am gonna try a couple more things before I completely give up on it lol. Thank you Larrys shee for the look up though. Ill keep that carb in mind

O it ( my idle adjuster on choke ) spins and moves up and down it just has no effect on idle. Maybe my jetting is off? The 45 was recommended to me but seems it should idle rather lean or rich?

Lol well ok ill b d*$#ed I was gonna adjust the cable on top except there is no adjustment on top. The cableis grommeted straight into the cap. Also I tried just barely holding my thumb on the throttle and it either still died or revved back up, wouldn't that do the same as adjusting the cable?

I'll b honest I dnt know exactly how it works either lol what I do know is that a lot of guys on here run the carb and idle is often an issue. Many use there throttle to adjust idle. But I can even feather the throttle and get it to idle it either revs into mid range or dies.

I'll check the carb and see but this is the carb that the idle adjustment is on the choke also I've moved the air screw from 1turn to 3 turns with no change. I'm running the cdma aluminum air box and just put it on so no clog for sure

Well I started out with it all the way in and I back it out up to 10 turns and couldn't tell any difference it still didn't idle at all just dies

Sounds like you've got a ground fault. Could b several culprits since u r on a welded frame, but also since its your bar that made you the fuse link I would soy probably a short/ loose connection nearby that location. Electricity will take the path of least resistance to ground. BUT anyway...

Yes I put the carb on its got all new fuel line and the float wasn't stuck when I put it on lol I have started it several times it does the same thing everytime and I've ran it for several minutes at wot before letting it shutdown (for fear of overheating) while trying to adjust things...

When I push the choke in its starts idleing down but I have to blip the throttle or it goes dead but when I do it jumps to wot even if I barely blip it there is no holding it at an even mid range rpm it either " ringdingdingdingdingdingding" wide open or dead

I'm using the thumb trottle off a 250r but it seems to b seating good I can hear it "click" when I realease it and there it about a quarter inch of play in the cable before it starts to pick up the slide
