Just got it today. As I thought, shock looks to be in great shape, a bit dusty/muddy but it will clean up. Just will have to see how it rides.

Not sure maybe different spring rates. I think they sell stiffer springs for the 400 shock.

Looking at getting a set of mx boots, already have a helmet, gloves, goggles. I'm debating getting a chest protector, padded shirt/pants as well. But I was curious what people are using just for messing around on the trails. Thinking of heading to an MX track and they specify full gear, so....

I just got some Tusks today, we'll see how it goes. I was thinking, do the nerf bars take place of that rear step behind the peg? If not I was thinking of just welding a little upside down "U" on vertically on that step to act as a heel guard, like the Moose ones but on the cheap.

Yea we'll see. Pretty reasonable prices if its quality stuff. 2'x4' should cover most of the plastic I think. Its gonna look weird if any spots are showing cuz my plastics are blue though. Well I'll post pics if I go for it. $65 won't hurt too bad either way.

Bad neighborhood eh? I'm on another car forum and a guy with an Audi in S.A. had a boulder rolled in front of him while driving. I guess they do that and if you stop they rob and/or kill you. Smashed up his front end pretty good, but he kept it floored and got away.
