So I have a 2000 Yamaha blaster just recently rebuilt with a new top end, clutch, and did a small carb clean. It starts up and idles great but after I ride it and come to a stop, the idle goes really low and then it dies. What could this be???? It almost seems like when I ride it better, like...

So I just rebuilt my blaster with a new cylinder, wiseco piston and new sparkplug. It runs awesome and rips now but I did see that the top of the head is a bit scarred on top. Do u think I’ll be fine to keep it or should I invest in a new one? Thanks. I’ll try to post a picture of it

How do u do a leak down test?

the wiseco kits are supposed to be very good and the head is oem. It’s $250.

I'm going to get a wiseco top end kit with piston and cylinder. Ill lyk if I have any issues.

alright. you know any good kits on ebay? I know wiseco is good. Also, you think I could rebuild it? I've never really built one of these engines before, only little 80cc bikes lol. I don't have a bunch of moeny either, maybe $175?

alright, and what are you thinking? piston, rings? and do you think I'll be fine to ride it for the time being?
