Well, I’ve decided to part ways with my project. In my area (Long Island) there isn’t really anywhere to ride and I would be spending 5k on a quad that I would likely be able to ride 1-2 times a year. Unfortunately, I am selling and parting out my project to try and make up for the huge loss...

Might take it apart and see what happens. I know when I compress the pedal, nothing happens in the back end. Not familiar at all with brakes, let’s see if I can figure it out.

Received the first of many parts (and the last thing I ordered a few days ago, ironic). Primary drive o ring chain, and front and rear stock tooth sprockets. I also ordered an OEM front sprocket holder and the bolts. I’ll probably put this on soon.

At first, the point was to buy it. Play with it then sell it in a week. Got caught up in a project. Usually I sell everything for profit, but this time I think I’ve accepted my losses and just going to keep it.

Feels like it. Waiting on the rest of the parts. I kind of wish I went with the +4 instead of the +3 but I don’t think I’d be able to fit out of my yard gates. I’m going to put it all together and then eventually swap out the suspension/swing arm/axle, what not. Get it all up and running then...

Day 10: This morning I painted the swing arm (rattle can) it’s not going to last at all. But, who cares. I also received my motor back from KOR today. He received it Tuesday (10:30am) rebuilt the bottom end (new seals, balanced, etc) and port, polish, rechambered head with wiseco piston kit...

yes sir. Unfortunately, I’m not Sure my kill switch works. I’m not sure how to go about the process without a kill switch. I suppose I could put the choke on to shut the motor off

Yes sir. I believe the kit includes a jet to be installed.

ha ha. That is top priority this time. :D will be doing heat cycles for sure, spoke to Ken yesterday about that. he also balanced my crank, replaced bearings, main seals, along with the port, polish, and re chambered the head and wiseco piston kit. Should be a fun little blaster.

Oh yeah, Ken received the engine at 1030am on Tuesday. He called me at 12:37 on Wednesday saying he was finishing up and will be sending it out in the morning. Very grateful and excited to see his work.

Day 9: Didn’t really get anything done today. I’m stuck waiting for parts/motor. KOR called me yesterday. Motor is complete all in a day from receiving it. He said it was the fastest turn around on an engine he’s ever done. I also ordered a toomey B1 full exhaust and XFR nerf bars with heel...
