Any advice would be much appreciated.

Hi, I’m fixing my blaster because a bolt had come loose when my engine was running. It cracked the clutch cover and I was wondering if it also damaged the right engine case? See the picture attached. Not sure if that hole is supposed to be there.

Wanted to let you know that after installation the blaster runs great and shifts through every gear. Big thanks to Slydog and the others who helped.

Yes, I have oileed everything oiled up. I will be putting case halves together too. Is there anything that I have to line up correctly, Like clutch plates or clutch.

Reassembled the trans tonight.

After splitting the cases, it looks like that i did in fact have that dowel in there, so it might be one from the clutch side....

Will split cases and take photos of what's in side before I put together again, and no I did not have someone holding the input shaft, but I was spinning the output shaft with the sprocket on, sometimes it would get stuck but would eventually turn. when I was doing this I felt first gear engage...

I will have to split the cases, but that's exactly why I bought a tusk case splitter.. lol

Quick question.... I found a extra dowel/pin, That means that one might be missing from the crankcase, would this cause shifting problems?

Something I did notice is that when I was turning the shift star, at some points it would get like stuck but would eventually turn over. In other words its wasn't a 100 % smooth rotation. Yes I put some assembly lube on before putting cases together, and when I was testing the gears the motor...

So I pulled off everything but the shift star, and I am able to turn the shift star counter clockwise from where the notch is pointed directly downward all the way to where the notch is pointing at roughly below 9 o clock. I'll post a pic or two. First pic shows shift star all the way clockwise...
