Looking to rechamber my head. What C/R should I shoot for 92 octane?

If it helps, Ive ran everything from 18CC to 29CC with good results. Your squish distance is very important too. .035 to .045 works well. I would just re-measure the volume of your head's chamber and start from there. That way you know. Go from there. What pipe is a custom pipe?

How to check oil pump is workimg

Remove the air cleaner rubber boot from the back of the carburetor and move it aside. Start your blaster and look at the tiny hole at the top of the carb on the inside. You should see it pulsing oil out of the hole.

    Auto lube question

I just finished swapping the oil injection system back onto my partner's Blaster! He has the same porting, re-chambered head, FMF pipe, blah, blah, blah as mine. Going on 8 years of hard riding, and still works flawlessly with the modifications. Don't be afraid.

    Gettting back into the fun.

    Auto lube question

No problem. I've switched between oil injection and pre-mix multiple times over the years during experimentation. Never a issue with auto lube. Stock to modified. If its the looks of the oil tank, I get it, but that doesn't take away anything when it comes to the reliability of the system. Its...

How to cut a HIGH COMPRESSION, HEMI HEAD for the YAMAHA BLASTER (revisited)

This is fun! Its not terribly hard to do, and the power output is well worth your efforts. No need to rejet! A VERY noticeable power increase! When coupled with a ported cylinder with matched transfer ports at the case, a quality pipe, and proper jetting, You can expect 30+ HP INCREASE which is...

    Auto lube question

Most folks would agree with you. However, its been flawless on my wife's blaster which is still stock and completely un-modified. I'm still running it after all these years on my personal modified blaster, which consists of ported stock cylinder, re-chambered high compression head with squish...

    Auto lube question

Hello, YES! The auto lube will work just fine. I run the auto lube with porting, and high compression re-chambered head, and DMC Alien pipe. I have been running it for years. Zero issues. I had to go up 12 sizes in main jet size if I remember correctly.
