    So I figure I would try and answer my own question with a bit of research and I think I know what I am going to try next. The pin on the caliper bracket (next to the red arrow in the attachment) is likely frozen and not shifting to the correct position which in turn is causing my issue...

    I imagine there are some pins that hold the yellow zinc plated mounting plate to the caliper (in the attached picture) that are seized and need to be lube? If so they must really be stuck as I can get them to budge one bit! Thanks!

    Thanks Larry! When you say pins do you mean the two bolts that the pads slide on? If so I forgot to mention that I pickup up a rear caliper rebuild kit from All Balls (had to replace an o-ring) and it came with new bolts for the pads.

    I am in Calgary, AB It turns out the TORS system was most of the problem, the rest of the problems were from the carb's float setting (or the lack of being set in the first place) Local trails were flooded out this past weekend, so I couldn't get out much but I was able to burn up and down...
