you cant run diodes on AC systems though, it will just burn up either the LED or the stator.

Ok yes there are the wide grab bars I know how to google search too. Are there any other racks from other machines that may fit the blaster? Wolverine racks? Warrior racks?

Wanting to find a rear rack for my '06 Blaster so next time I dont have to carry the rotting pumpkins to the backyard by hand. Anyone know any racks that fit the blaster rear mounting points or onto the grab bar?

    '06 Blaster Trail Build

Upon further research, apparently the main reason to install reed spacers into the YFS engine is because the boost port is underneath the reed cage per oem spec, installing the spacer pulls the reeds back so the boost port is more in the airflow and can potentially cause better fuel atomization...

    '06 Blaster Trail Build

It would yes. The distance between the reeds and the cylinder head at tdc is the final compression value and the same distance at bdc is the initial value. increasing the tdc volume lowers compression ratio. lower compression ratio does cause lower overall power but increases low end torque and...

    '06 Blaster Trail Build

For the airbox I am going to try to either increase the size of the oem snorkel or add a second and/or third snorkel. I do not want to modify or delete the lid if i dont have to. I do not think I am going to have to replace the cylinder and piston so for now I will keep the new one as a spare...

    '06 Blaster Trail Build

Boysen reeds installed. Waiting for the spacer coming tomorrow. I'm going to install the spacer since my faith in thermodynamics states that more volume and lower compression ratio will give me better low end torque.

    '06 Blaster Trail Build

I am planning to set up my little '06 Blaster for trail riding. I have an oil block off kit, a non-tors carb with a longer throttle cable, and a reed spacer with Boysen fiber reeds. I am planning to set up the quad for trail riding so low end power is my target. I have a skidplate already...

    Blaster won't start. TORS removed.

I also ordered all new tires and Nerf bars and a skidplate and a new thumb throttle without the electrical BS and wheel spacers for the front. I intend to trail ride mostly but also do a little mx style riding with it.

    Blaster won't start. TORS removed.

Hey man thanks for the reply. This is my first quad (4 stroke dirt bike guy) so I'm happy it's a pretty moddable one with an awesome community! I do have spark now and I got it back running, turns out if you can the wires at the CDI it doesn't work... I guess it wasn't grounded. It will...

was this just a top end and intake swap or did you swap the whole engine?

    Blaster won't start. TORS removed.

Just got a 06' with tors removed (spliced right after CDI) and also has parking brake wires cut (not sure if correctly, that was done when i got it). I did the tors removal myself and after removal the quad will not start. It had issues starting before but would eventually start and idle fine...
