Little maintenance before riding season

Alright so, my 05 blaster is currently running great with this eBay air filter and no box lid. I would like to be able to use the lid again because I run some wet and muddy trails and had an issue with a soaked filter causing it to run like sh*t. (dried it behind my buddies exhaust by the way) ...

It's only rated for 35 watts so it can run directly off the stator. Stock stators are rated for 55 I believe.

I have given this beauty of a 1990 blaster the knickname nightmare blaster. It's my buddies ride and is very temperamental lol but after a rebuild and a very nice pipe it has become a whole different bike.

And I scored a sexy front bumper for $50. Never seen one like it before.

So this is beyond my jb weld experience. Actually had a Craigslist deal go well for once, he was able to score a left case for $100.

I did, and I like how he drops in yearly to let everyone know that it's still running great. And that was my argument with my buddy, what does he have to lose right now

So we decided gonna give the jb weld and fiberglass mesh a try, do the stator screws go into the right case?

If we decide to go that route I'll definitely post pics afterwards lol.

I have a product at work called quick steal, I've been seriously contemplating that, but unsure due to the rating of about 300 degrees I believe. I've never actually taken my infrared heat gun to a hot motor to see what they typically run at temperature wise

And God only knows how this thing was maintained, it is a 1990 after all
