Need pipe recommendation for Vito's 240 +3mm stroker engine

That would be great if they had one or if the toomey silencer bolts up to it. But either way I need some sort of spark arrestor or they won't let me run in the forest, and the pipe will be no good for this guy.

Need pipe recommendation for Vito's 240 +3mm stroker engine

That's fat bastard pipe looks very appealing for my bbl stroker motor but can I run too toomey silencer on it so I have spark arrester option or is there a spark arrest or that will fit the bastard silencer. And sorry to jack thread but just gotta know??

    Sand tires

Can anyone tell me the durability of haulers or extremes. Will they hold up on river bed hard pack or even dirt at times. I ask because where I ride is mostly sand with lots of loose deep sand but does have trails that get hard pack and even to dirt for stretches. Will it just tear a chunk out...

    Why Crankshaft torched and sheared

Okay great I ran that stuff through two other engines too this summer. When I switched..I switch everything to that super techniplate. Never seen that sticky mess with the yamalube 2r.

    Why Crankshaft torched and sheared

That oil was klotz super techniplate sh*t on premix @ 32:1. Air filter was clean and jetting was spot on I believe. I used to run the yamalube 2r stuff but this build I decided to try something different and my builder or machinist said everyone uses klotz techniplate, but I really think it was...

    Why Crankshaft torched and sheared

So motor is together and air tight. I'm gonna send flywheel out to be lightened before I run this and I might switch oil too. Can anyone look at these pictures and tell me I shouldn't. The rings were extremely sticky and the sh*t on bottom of piston was like cooked rubber

    Thumb throttle vs twist throttle???

one never thinks bout this until you actually tried it. I personally have tried it on a friends quad and let tell you from experience...no to twist cause when sh*t hits the fan you want thumb so you can keep control of the bike.

    Why Crankshaft torched and sheared

Oh and one more thing, would a lightened flywheel be something I should consider here.

    Why Crankshaft torched and sheared

Oh I know to much to lose lose for the few coins I'd save. I got new main bearing, new crank, quality used flywheel and stator, all new oil seals, new oem gaskets, couple new circlips and lock tab washers, new rings, new big bore bore head gaskets, and couple things I'm forgetting. No expense...

    Why Crankshaft torched and sheared

Well sure there is wear marks on the magnets and also on the coils but whos to say that came before or after the flywheel went free spinning at full throttle. I'm going with the small crack theory that led to even more flexing and heating in that area that eventually became a split. I did get to...

    Why Crankshaft torched and sheared

    Why Crankshaft torched and sheared

Stator plate was indeed still tight also.

    Why Crankshaft torched and sheared

The flywheel was still attached to the end of crank shaft that broke from main shaft. I had to take a air hammer to separated them and the woodruff key was still intact. The crankshaft was the only 3mm stroker available for these blasters so if you know blasters, then you know who makes these...

    Why Crankshaft torched and sheared

Looking for answers on why this happened so it doesn't happen again. It is a 3mm sleeved big bore to 72mm full ported that turned 20 to 30 hours before this. I was in Halsey for a three day ride and noticed it didn't seem like itself the last day and I also lost headlight sometime out there...

    Tires to Big?

Nothing really wrong with the 22" tires. I prefer the 20" rear tires over 22" due to the height and getting lower to ground and less tire roll. I believe the 20" make me feel tighter to ground than 22" but this is both on 8" rims. I did experiment with 22" holes hots on 8" rim and went back to...

    Sand tires

Alright I've search high and low on this site and there is little information on paddle tires. Anyways hoping for some input from you guys. I run an older set of sand shark paddle tire (8 paddle) and want to upgrade to the skat trak tires for better hook-up and to get on pipe faster. Skat trak...

    Shift shaft

Pull the clutch cover and inspect for damage. Make sure star hasn't came loose on drum. Inspect fingers on shift shaft. I've seem them dam stars come loose to point wear it has broke end of drum and needless to say it didn't shift for sh*t. But pulling clutch cover will tell the story for ya.
