got my motor back together and noticed I had a small leak coming from the head gasket but my question is how do I lap my KOR modified head? I also used a oem gasket head clearance is right and all bolts were torqued in correct sequence after each heat cycle I got about 5 hours on this rebuild
just got my wiseco piston and gasket set and noticed the head gasket is silver instead of copper. Would this matter or do I need to get a copper gasket?
Broke my extended swingarm recently and I warrantied it and got a new one, but still having some issues.
Got the swingarm last December and I said I wanted a +2. Built my chain for the extended swingarm and then I broke it this past month. Warrantied the broken one and said I needed a +2 cause...
so I had my cylinder bored .20 over and I already had my head modded by KOR when my cylinder was stock bore. Do I need to get my head machined any for the new bore?
I just put new crank seals in and I'm still leaking from them. So I sprayed water and I found out the leak is coming from between the crank and crank seal wear ring. Do I need a new wear ring? I watched KORs vids on the assembly and he put sealer on the end of the wear ring, I did this but it's...
I'm going billet and I need cushions. Where can I get them? Also I noticed UPP sells them for a banshee/blaster but a banshee takes 8 instead of 6 will they fit? Are they the same size?
so I did a leak down test and my right crank seal is bad also it is sucking trans oil. Do I just order the seal and the clutch cover gasket? Also how do I replace this?
i got a new la sleeve in my cylinder with a wiseco piston (stock bore) the rings were gapped and everything was assembled correctly, I also have a KOR modded head for 93 pump gas. I tested my compression and it was 120. Is that ok? I figure it would be more with her head mod. What should I do...
i just rebuilt my top end with a new oem cylinder with a la sleeve stock bore.
Stock carb my jetting before the rebuild was 300 main (rich side) and stock pilot and stock needle setting 1.5 turns out on the pilot screw. 500 elevation.
I run 32:1 castor 927 93 pump gas.
Mods before rebuild...
i have the armadillo +2 a arms and they have adjustable ball joints. Has anyone drilled the tops of them and installed a grease fitting to allow to grease them?
I purchased a used oem cylinder that was resleeved from my local shop. It is stock bore and they told me it could be bored to a 240. This sleeve is really thick! Anybody know what it is.
what kind of head work can I do if I wanna run 93 pump gas? I've read I can go .35 milled but what else can I do? I'm not very familiar with head work.
I changed my trans oil with atf type f before I rode the other day I put 21 ounces in it and I just now drained it and it only had 18 ounces in it? There are no leaks on the case and don't think I have a bad deal cause I just had the bottom end rebuilt last year. There is no white smoke either...
i am currently running castor 927 which is 37 for half a gallon, i recently found that for a gallon of amsoil dominator was the same price. but i have read that amsoil dominator should be ran at 50:1, sounds lean to me is it safe to run a 32:1?
Is their anything I need to do if I switch from super m to 927? Like drain the tank? Or can I just start mixing the 927 and runnin it with the super m that is remaining in the tank?
Thanks
Ok so many of you know that i have posted many threads about how bad my bike has been running lately. Well today i figured it out when i bought the bike it had a parts ace knock-off airfilter that was new and that looked similar to a KandN, thinking it would perform as good as a REAL KandN i...
