Do you think it would be better to assemble the bottom end, then paint, or paint the halves then assemble and retouch?

Bought an 06 ttr230 for 500 bucks sight unseen. Hoping for a cheap quick flip. Motor was seized. When I got it home I took the head off. Got the piston freed and took off the jug. No problem so far. Pulled the side covers off to inspect flywheel and clutch. This is what I found.
