I would step that up 1 more. I'd call that plug right on the line.

At your elevation. Stock I would guess a 220mj. Uni air filter 230. Lid off 240. The 88 and 89 came stock with a 220. In 90 they richened em up with a 230. I like your thoughts with starting higher. One nice thing about all the guess work and tuning is that you will know your bike well.

How the hell big would your main jet be if you had a turbo?

It is dupli-color metal cast over a gray primer. It doesn't coat well.

Definitely start with a 320 then.

Sorry to be hard on you, but you are getting on the right track. I would go even higher on the main jet. I'd start with a 320 and chop down. Better safe than sorry.

I prepped and painted the front fenders. Plasti-dip. It goes on nice. Covers well. I am not convinced it will be very durable. But it does look nice on the bike.
