I use to ride those too (cardinal trails) i worked at grumpys concrete pumping for a lil while but they are posted. Last ride i went on there pwc police was on 4 wheelers on the trails waiting.. but i lost em lol

oh and btw i contacted outerwears and they emailed me back. they found me a part # for a filter to go over the uni filter for the CFM box. ordered this afternoon. should i trust a pre-oiled foam filter for this ride to busco this weekend or should i clean and redo myself for a better application?

do you think with the petcock it will help the fuel issue? like i was saying i believe i have too much air and not enough fuel together.. maybe keep the .310 add the pingel and let it be? i already ordered a new bigger carb just waiting for it to come in. just dont want to over do it with the fuel

no i have not. im a little dumbfounded in that department. i do know i just changed out plug and the one i took out only had about 20 hours on it and it was fried! like i said i am no mechanic by any means. i try and without this forum i would be lost! i will look into the plug chop one evening...

ahhhh ok i got you now.. i will def take the k&n off and use the uni filter. what do you oil those types of filters with? i have always used and only used K&N filters. also if i use the uni filter oiled right and the outerwear on the CFM box what jet would you recommend me using? specs... 240...

i have only been riding with the lid on.. but the CFM dies not have a typical cover lid. it is slotted down both sides from front to back. quad is jetted but im almost sure its way to big of a jet. im going to break it down again and re jet before the trip
