I've been fiddling with these brakes for weeks now on my '98. got the shorty cable on today but still has issues. the pads are new. mechanism is all greased up and moving nicely. I've tried adjusting these things every possible way you could imagine. I get a really good pedal for 1 or 2 pushes...
