Yea, forgot to tell you guys, I put the TORS back on becuase I had to order the idle screw/ drill bit kit. I couldn't wait to try out the Toomey Pipe so slapped the Tors back on.

Im talking about the air screw on the carb..I still have my TORS hooked up. I have it about 2 turns out. If Iscrew it in it bogs down and dies, if I screw it out it idles higher

BTW this Toomey T1 Pipe sounds niiice :-) Loud for sure

I got it going good. I noticed that my idle screw on the carb is maybe only 2 turns out. ANything less than that my idle starts to bog down, and when I engage in gear it dies out. So 2 turns for me is right at the limit

...Update, I messed around with the choke, throttle cable adjusting, and carb idle, It start in 1-2 kicks now and idles smooth..and AGGRESSIVE :-P

I've seen other blasters start up with 1 kick, Me on the otherhand I have to flick the throttle while kick starting before she comes alive? WHy is this? I have a new spark plug, 32:1 Mix, cleaned out carb. Im lost...educate me please. I want to join the ranks of the one kick no throttle team.Or...

FIRE?!?! How did that happen. It's aluminum tape wrapped on the outside of the pipe, I don't see how that could catch on fire. 1. It doesnt get that hot, and 2. Aluminum has a high heat rating.

Spoke with Toomey and the y said the pipe i had was an older model that has since been upgraded. They said to use metal tape and build up the diameter, I only have aluminum tape I will try and use that hope it holds under the heat. How hot does that area get anyways?

T1. the silencer diameter is fine it is sealing that part, the pipe goes into the silencer and when I tighten those screws all the way the rubber piping is still loose. It tightens on the bottom because the diameter is bigger, but the top appears to be smaller.

The black rubber boot where the silencer and pipe meet is not sealing the exhaust. I am using the stock black rubber tube with the tightening rings. it seams that the diameter of the toomey pipe end is to small for the rubber hose to seal it.

I would think a handfile would take forever...

Ok, I will order it then good stuff thanks guys. As far as grounding that one are flat, I have a dremel so maybe the sanding disk or grinder

Dang...Before I buy this part and shell out some extra bucks let me ask you all a question is it worth using the Eliminator kit??? Any real difference?

OK simply put...When you pull the black knob on your carb(choke) are you opening it or closing it? When the knob is pressed fully against the carb is that open or closed? Im getting confused. I usually run it with the black knob closed all the way.
