when the temps are around 50-60 everything is good. crisp throttle all thru the powerband. no bog or hesitation

like if you hit a certain rpm it doesn't like to rev past unless you give it wot. you pull the choke out and it is dead. ive had this problem before in the midrange and it was because my mj was to big. couldn't compensate enough with the needle.

hey guys. finnaly got around to doing another plug chop. I think im running a little rich. it is 77 degrees with 78% humidity. the engine is air tight and float has been set. I have the 300 mj in right now. im thinking of going to the 290. When it is warmer it feels abit bogy unless I hit wot.

Thanks for the rep! I checked the float level. it is 21mm. I found a washer on another carb. put it on and tried the 250 main. WOW!!!!!!!!!!!! im very impressed. Im almost scared of it. Now I need to set jetting and do a plug chop. Ill see what it is with the 250. If its lean which it should be...
