Sorry no has aftermarket(bigger) mikuni carb on it
the cable I got of ebay was to long inside
the housing was right size
that's why I thought maybe the throttle part was wrong (of different model) sorry I purchased to long ago no info
OK I brought a thumb throttle of the Bay
For my sons
To eliminate twist throttle it was supposed to be off a blaster
So I order a cable and it didn't fit right to long here's a couple pics
Can some one please tell me if
this is A Blaster or of other Yamaha model
ok here,s up date
tore it down to find the clutch assembly was loose so I took it apart the nut that holds the outer clutch part on was locked(with tab washer) but loose
so I finsh taking apart and found that the spring washer was in wrong place! put it back in as the manual showed torqued...
Ok I got my blaster up and running
and I let my son run it yesterday because his throttle cable Broke
he comes back after riding it about .5 hrs and tells me the clutch stop working now it will not release at all
Heres what it does theres a lot of free play at the lever like the cables...
one more question if I may
but generally speeking what is life of new set of reeds, I know thats probally a little loaded ??
but how often do should a guy inspect / replace them
I would hate to be in middle of nothing trail riding and brake one!
Boysen duals would be nice
But I.m on a tight budjet right now so will go with the Vito reeds!
yes I hate when ppl don,t let you know what they found out
thats what the purpose of this forum is to share advice and problem solving
will tell ya this is one of best!!! Forums I have been on...
Ok I,m going to order Reeds off Ebay
I,m looking at Vito,s Dual petal reeds
or Boysen Super Stock Reeds
Witch set is the better buy and what advantage if any does one have over other?
Durabillity is a factor too!
