I put 22 ounces in.

Just put in a new(to me) engine and it was dry for shipping reasons. So I put in 0.7 of a quart and drove it. Never bothered till this weekend.

I am not using the correct oil either. I am using motor oil. Haven't had a chance to get Yamalube at a dealer yet. Maybe he oil is too thin? Causing it to run up the vent tube.

Hi, I was driving my blaster yesterday when it started to smoke/smell like burning oil. I stopped it to see were it was coming from. There was oil all over the exhaust pipe, steering post, and frame. It came from the vent tube for the tranny. I have been looking around and everyone says it...

yeah..im not wooried about jetting at all..i dont have any preformance parts exept boyesen super stock reeds..and they are like the stock ones ..just cheaper and last longer..my blaster came from a dealer from around here..so elavation should be good..

Yeah i see where you are coming from. But couldnt over heating of caused the skirt to break? idk..I just think that since this wheeeler had like no miles on when i bought it i was thinking this had to be self inflicted since these engines go a long time if rode right???

i measured my bore and it was 66mm exactly..and the pistion should be here any time..we flushed it out and dosent get hung up at all any more and i turned it over forever..thanks for the help

thanks for the help..the jug really does look good soo i dont really think it need to be bored over.. but idk what to do on the bottom end..ive ordered new gaskets and a pistion and rings..126 dollars..i really dont want to put soo much money into it..how much are new bottom end bearings and seals?

we used to have a 90cc eton and i bet we put over 3000 miles on it..we broke the frame like 5 times and then we lined the frame with rebar..and welded it shut..never broke again..we never had a belt blow but we got the engine and belt filled with water a couple of times..

ok so i called the dealer and they said they only service junky polaris wheelers..so i took off the top end and my bore looks good...my pistion has half of the skirt broken off and all of that is in the bottom end..sooo i got a small hose into the bottom end and vacuumed all the shavings out and...

no..it over heated i think..it was pumping oil..i had just filled he tank and there was the right amount gone after i got it home...and i was in sand and it was hot out..

they are very toutchy..they come with an automatic cam chain tentioner..so there is a spring that always puts pressure on it and eventually stretches the chain to far..then you need a manual chain tentioner which is like 50 bucks..

ok..i know im bringin it in and everything but i was puttin my clutch cover back on and turned the oil pump over and it was turning the shaft but there was no compression is hat right?

ok thanks..im bringing it to a shop because i dont have the time to fix it..i think it over heated because it was a hot day and no breeze..and i was woorking it really hard in sand for a long time..thanks for the info..

well i got it on the lift right now.. but it is impossible to kick start it so im pretty possitive the engine is fried..

it moves with the clutch in...we pulled it home i nuetral..it can still shift..
