    head mods

I have KennedyPower's porting and head work done with a shearer pipe he sold me, and it is insane. 13:1 compression running 93 octane. hemi combustion chamber with modified squish band. he did all the research and testing to get it right. i'm still running stock carb and keep up with 400cc 4...

    DIY racelogic porting

hahaha true that Joe. before i knew much about porting, i tore apart a chainsaw that had burnt up, sanded the piston and cylinder enough to get it to slide freely again, and began porting. apparently a chainsaw needs that mid-range, i now have a chainsaw that needs a high end pipe hahaha. two...

I stripped my blaster and I took my head off today

make sure you send him the piston too so he can check clearances. my suggestion is even if it doesn't need bored, i'd have him hone it and throw a new set of rings in so u know it's fresh on that new porting.

    stroke demystified

or get a custom made sleeve pressed in. i would have to say most debores are done to be able to get a bike to fit a lower race class. i've heard of a +3 stroked blaster, which makes over 200cc, being debored to make it legal for a 200cc class

will the IT250 jug work on a blaster bottom end

Anyone run the shearer inframe pipe?

i like my shearer. it allows the motor to spin to 9,000 rpm's, so it doesn't have quite the over rev a pro circuit or perhaps toomey has, but it comes on super strong.

    resleeve

unless you have a machine shop you cant do it. the old one has to be milled out and the new one pressed in.

    melted plug

93 octane, stock timing, have headwork by kennedy, not exactly sure on exact measurements. no metal flecks that i could see. all it did was melt the plug. put it a new one in and fired right up.

    melted plug

i mentioned this before- i think my carb bowl drains when i have it pinned for like 30 seconds, causing it to run lean. well the other day i was riding up a dirt road pinned in 6th for a few seconds when she lost power and started back firing. tried restarting it a bunch of times, ended up just...
