    spark knocking??

That "Joker" would be me and just to correct this and attempt to clean up my name a bit, I DID NOT PORT THIS JUG. The jug as far as I'm aware from reliable sources was a used jug that someone cleaned up the casting in at some point. It was sold as a usable cylinder that needed a bore to this...

    Yamaha warrior BOG question!!!

Seems strange that it would have a midrange bog. Warriors have issues with the park brake switch & nonsense like that but typically they act as if they're hitting a rev limiter & won't rev out at all. Also check the boot from the carb to the head for any tears.

whats the best but cheapest oil to use in the crankcase

I'm a bit confused here b/c the OP is looking for oil to put in his machine, claims clutches were replaced which requires drainage, yet he claims it's been in the bike with oil in it for 5 weeks. So.....did ya put the old sh*t back in it or what b/c rather than viscosity or brand of fluid, I'm...

    Call me a Newbie!!

    A huge bore! CWR has a 250 kit. A half mm is only .020 so from a 195 it's around 198-200~ 2mm overbore only makes a 209 I think

    Support the TRI-Z!!

Wanna try to restore it man, too many have gone to waste & I don't want this one to. I had a couple of these slip through my fingers about 12 yrs ago, one was my cousins' & I couldn't get my hands on it before it had to be sold. It was one of the funniest toys I ever rode & I want one back.

    Support the TRI-Z!!

K, wanted to post this where it would get the most traffic. Got a BLACK/RED Tri-Z the other day, most of it's there & what's not can Prolly be found but there's no engine. From what I can tell some of the 83-87 YZ 250 stuff can be made to work but how do I make the powervalved setup the YZ uses...

which is the best for trails?

Yup, Raptor 350 offers more modern racer friendly economics & about 4hp over a stock Warrior. For me, I'll take my Warrior, I like it 10x better than the new Rap 350, my machine just has a much better feel to it.

which is the best for trails?

Ok, I'm bias maybe but I'm gonna say Warrior. Very manageable power, especially bottom end torque, a lil longer than a Blaster is & a shade wider to boot but it's not too wide, I think if you're a woods trail rider then there is a such thing as being to wide for that environment. The Warrior is...

Digging up info on a TRI-Z 250, any help is appreciated.

K, so back in the day, 12 years or so ago my cuz had a super cool & pretty nice (overall) black/red Tri-Z. Things were different back then, not as much internet support like these forums & ebay so even though it needed little, it was let go. Hey, ya gotta do what ya gotta do sometimes. Now...

My Tri-Z 250 Blaster is almost complete! Just thought I'd share!

I'd just like to have had the engine from it... I want a real deal Tri-Z, nothin against Blaster, I obviously love em but Yamaha cornered the market on the most badass lookin 3 wheeler of the day! It might not have been the fastest but with being able to swap YZ jug & piston on it, I'm sure the...

    Home porting

I admire your self control, the thought of what I might be able to accomplish & how close it might feel by the ass dyno to what Ken does would just kill me! And you even have the perfect blueprint to look at.

    race ready parts

Sorry to jack the thread with that last post, anyway, think about what ya really wanna do with the machine b/c you're about to completely transform it into another animal, I've seen this up close & personal, believe me, when you get into porting the jug, rechambering the head, large aggressive...
