Hello Blaster aficionados! It's been years since we have posted here. I hope everyone is doing well. But the old pump gas blaster still runs remarkably. It has had one fresh piston once, and is well past ready for another. But it still is powerful. Soon, we will be re-visiting blaster...

It's the real deal friend. But it was not user friendly. It was impractical to build, and too high strung for the ordinary blaster owner. High compression, Race gas, high rpm etc...And that dyno run was posted as the extreme example of what is possible. This thread is about the 42hp pump gas...

We can do custom pipes for anything, of course. But it's not always very practical. In most cases, we work with Jaws, or Shearer to modify/use an existing stamping for cost, and practicality. And in every case, the motor setup must be geared to the pipe. Obviously a better pipe might still...

Before we bow to any of the 4-chokes, let me say that most all of the late 80s designed 2-stroke motors are capable of double the stock power without increasing the displacement. The lt 500 is a challenge but to gain 30HP is possible, and still maintain good mid range power. And if we increase...

The Chart posted is about 15 percent higher than the numbers our dyno reads. We see 16hp Blasters, 33hp banshee, 25hp ex400, 42hplt500, 27hP 250r, 36-38hp 450s, I'd like to take one of our boosters to that dyno...lol Joeak's skepticism is not surprising. But i can only do so much to prove...

We did trade riders and race also, but it was ugly for the Quadzilla 500. And might seen hard for most people to swallow. So we posted this vid with the blaster at a huge weight handicap, so that the race was close. With the riders switched, the Blaster wins by 3+ bike-lengths. We will be...

No offence meant, but Blaster projects are only resonable if they are affordible. So when we decided to use a larger carb, we went to the old/low value/parts carb container. There benieth the spider-webs, and spiders, we found one of our old 34pj carbs (stock carb for Honda trx250r) that was...

The modern Dynojet atv dynos have factory set calibration. And the newer ones all read similar. And that consistency has made them the industry standard in the US. There are very consistent too. The fact is that we have had many motors dynoed on other dynos around the country after we had...

Our single cylinder porting starts at $300. That being said, we are not anxious to sell a pile of these setups until we have a better opportunity to establish it's value in the real world, and in front of objective observers. It does seem a little frustrating to face skepticism, and sell a...

If your wanting to know if we stand behind our claims, the answer is yes. Can i guarantee that everyone can tune their motor to the power we get, using their components, their carburetor, and their pipe? Probably not. The engine setup is highly tuned, and will need to be setup correctly. And...

Lol. We tested the motor with a stock carb Saturday. It made 37hp with real-world jetting. We also tested a bored pj, and v force reed, but the carrier bearing is going out , so we had to stop. We did vid a dyno run. I'll try to post it.

Long Center is the lower rpm/torque version of the pipe that was a little too high rpm. And Big muffler is a big "quite" one. Any other questions?...lol This low-buck hotrod would be a great one to try some of your pipes on Tater...With only modded stk components +Carb, and pipe, it puts a lot...

No, not on any of my setups. And I don't have any to test, or I would :). But I do have friend who tested them both against the vito's pipe, and they both made less power...

We explained early on that these were dynojet rear-wheel numbers. On the same dyno the stock motor made 16ish hp. As to an update: Since this thread started we have put quite a bit of time on the blaster setups, and we are very happy with how they are running. And by no means does the dyno...
