use a dremel with a grinding stone and take your time grinding off the PO weld. after awhile take a flat head and gently tap with a hammer on the weld if it doesn't come off then grind more of the weld until you can tap it off.

i know it probably obvious but did you tighten them the same amount?

just got done leak testing before i put it all back together so i know its air tight unless it just sprang a leak that fast! and i didnt use a gasket for the reeds i used hondabond is that ok? everytime i use a rubber gasket i get a airleak there so i said screw it and put on the hondabond

took carb off running blaster to put on this one and it still didnt work. not sure what to do i tryed the litte gas straight to the carb trick and its not working now either. so i guess this just leaves reads right??

i broke one of mine yesterday and sandblasted the clutch cover and polished the circle where it says yamaha and going to paint the letter not sure on a color yet

the nut grabs the treads now but as soon as it gets any kind of torque it breaks loose. but i was looking at it and its only in the middle of the crank threads, the front are good and so is the back of the threads
