Hi guys i just tore apart my current builds motor to replace the crank and i noticed the left case half doesnt have any type of serial number on it like the last 6 i have owned. And no it is not ground off or scraped away of any type Anyone know anything about this??

What does lapping the flywheel mean? I should rephrase: leak detecting soap that makes bubbles when a leak is present

Alright guys blaaster was right it was a sheared flywheel key, so ill get one of those and get rippin again, thanks for the help guys

The keihin carb was on before, and good idea ill check flywheel right now..

Compression is 120lbs, i have always used leak soap on my blasters and its always worked, spark is also good. Are keihin carbs just touchy and worthy of getting rid of??

Hi guys i just got the motor together on my project blaster and it does not want to run. it occasionally backfires, and just doesnt want to start. It has a keihin carb and VF3 reeds. I rebuilt the top and bottom ends of the motor. Even when i pull start it behind another wheeler it doesnt want...

the toomey kit from them come with a 310 jet assuming everything else is stock id bump that up to a 320 due to airbox

namura rings have a different slot where the locating pin goes, sorta tapered, wiseco arent like this and i do NOT reccomend it...

case was split by the previous owner and i reassembled it, the crank was also left in the left case by him.

ok, i might just buy an already installed crank in a seperate case so i dont need to buy the crank puller/installer, because i will probably never need it again..

sorry guys if im getting annoying but im having my first crank install experience, and i got an old crank here and is there any ways to tell if its good or bad?? if the crank turns out bad should i put a hot rod crank in?? thanks again
