Alright well, my brake light doesnt light up when i apply either the parking or back brake. But, it does come on when the front lights are turned on. Any help on how to get the back light to light up when im braking?

Yesterday i was riding around through trails and mud, and oil started coming out above the transmission oil tank. theres a silver rod next to it that it comes out from. Should it leak, and should that rod be sticking out?
