I just bought this Blaster and I have my hands full getting it in good running condition. He said it's a 2000 Blaster

So - I saw this thread and then checked the date. To my surprise it is current! I have the same problem. Am trying to identify this carb. I have the exact same as pictured (with stamping on it). The guide pin in the throat for the slide fell off after a ride and the throttle stuck open. Trying to figure out if there is a replacement part and more importantly how to get the guide pin out as it appears to be pressed in and not serviceable.

Will post pics later once I start drilling to get the guide out.

I wouldn’t drill it, or at least not all the way. The assembly process is it’s pressed in then “staked” (metal deformed around it) I had one come lose and just turned it to proper position and then used a center punch to deform (upset) the metal. I’d try to spin the pin to proper position and re-stake it.

Appreciate the response. There was no pin at all. It broke off. I spent the better part of the week trying to identify the carb and have found the exact replacement for around $175 - which is not bad but upgrades are available at a better price point and I just want to buy some time to research. This is a new bike that I am teaching my kid on and would like her to learn before I go too deep into the project.

That being said I drilled very slowly and stepped up sizes until I removed all of the press fit piece and was able to remove the remaining nub of the brass pin. There were a couple of posts on the forum from folks who had milled a screw down to the right size. I found that a brass needle jet was perfect and trimmed it to fit and then filled the outside (press fit) hole with JB Weld. Not ideal but I literally could not find a new Guide Pin to press fit in anywhere.

As this thread started out - I am genuinely curious as to the make / model of this carb... It is the oem carb and all e-bay / junkyard take offs are the same with the same stamping. Mine is an '01 Blaster.

Ya you’ll never find a pin because it’s part of the carb body. I don’t know the exact model number. It is application specific because it doesn’t have a threaded hole for a slide stop screw.
An aftermarket carb would.
In doing a TORS delete the hole is drilled and tapped for the screw.

Unless you are going to modify it heavily just stick with a 26mm
