Yeah it definitely had a bit of cold seize at one point. I showed that to my son and explained how that happens. But at the time of the failure it was definitely warmed up properly.

The head has a slight bit of rock to it when placed on the jug with no gasket. So that will have to be trued up before reassembly with a new piston.

Definitely leaking pretty good.

Got the new forged Wiesco set for proper squish.

Had to chamfer all the holes in the head. There was a slight ridge around each stud. That was the “rock” I was feeling with no gasket.
