I have a severe blockage in my stock expansion chamber.
I recently replaced an aftermarket exhaust on my good running 91 Blaster with a used stock exhaust. Bike became difficult to start and would not rev above idle, even when the muffler was removed. There didnt seem to be any exhaust flow out the tail end. After I removed the expansion chamber, the bike started and revved easily, but was loud as hell.
I blew out the expansion chamber several times with compressed air in reverse direction and got some fiberglass and straw, but the problem is still there...
Has anyone else seen this or know of any fix? I assume I will have to cut open the chamber to fix this, does anyone know if there are baffles inside and where they are?
Thanks!
