hey everyone I’m just in need of some experienced guidance. I recently purchased a 96 blaster and I repainted the whole frame it came with a bunch of new electrical parts I rebuilt the engine fix the tires polish the exhaust, I finally excitedly get the engine in to discover there’s no spark. i’m not really sure where to start to check and if someone with some experience could lend a hand it would be greatly appreciated. thanks

What components did you replace?
Did you clean paint off where ground and coil is? After fixing that and no spark, search how to bypass both switches
i’ve just come to realize that there is no voltage rectifier!! could this be the cause of my no spark? i just today replaced the stator, and flywheel cover for the stator.

this is my second reply, read the other first, but i installed the new coil, cdi, and tors coil,(even though this is a tors deleted quad, and had no spark. so i threw a new stator in it with no luck, but i’ve also just discovered it has no rectifier installed, yet i’m not sure if that could cause no spark

there’s a small single blue, alone wire at the top, that matches all these ones that come with stator kits, are you positive??

You’ll have to look at the wire diagrams. I was thinking of the 03-06 they don’t have a seperate tors brain
They all have a regulator, but no rectifier

ahh yes, it must be the regulator. but could that missing cause no spark??
