So in my continuous struggle to get my blaster working again, i have run into yet another problem. I have fixed the start up problem, i ended up ruining the key switch. But now my problem is when it is running. when i start it up and give it gas, the engine bogs out, and if i give it full gas the engine will die. I recently did a tors delete kit on it, and cut the wire towards the front of the bike, and tied them together and cleaned the carb well. My reeds are new and there are still exhaust smoke coming out of the carb as well. not too sure whats going on right now, if any of you know i could really use a hand. i'm trying to get this ready for vacation over memorial day weekend

I’d have to actually see a video of exhaust coming out of the carb to believe it !!
Without a long explanation of it, there is a naturally occurring “fog” at the mouth of the carb.
If dual stage reeds are they installed correctly? What year do you have? ONLY 03-06 need twisted wires !! Pre-03 only needs the brain unplugged

I have a 2003 blaster, it was able to start last night again, but it just isn't right. there is little to no power, and even riding it around the yard it would not be able to make it up very small hills. It just seems when i hit the gas, the engine dies

Best thing I can suggest is to double check that you did the delete correctly. YOU have to search for it.

List ALL your mods, carb settings/jet sizes. Is it a OEM carb or china junk?
What about the ignition/stator? What does the plug look like?

Take a look at your flywheel keyway. If sheared the ignition timing will be off an cause your issue. Same as bad reeds
You Will need a flywheel puller.
