So I was riding my blaster and it just started to bog until it shut off and I couldn't get it to turn on. So when i finally got it to turn on it would idle fine but once i get into fourth gear the RPMs go up so high the motor might blow I have checked if there is bad reeds and they look fine, check for air leek and everything looks good im new to quads so dont know much pls help thanks in advance.

Did you do a proper 2t leakdown test.?
Running out of fuel can have the symptoms you describe.
Check the throttle cable and slide to make sure its not hanging up.with bike( off )
push throttle lever to full throttle and and release realy fast. You should hear the slide slap down in the carb. You don't want a runaway throttle problem in any gear. It can be dangerous
Also make sure reed cage gaskets are good and carb boot has no cracks. Those are two common air leak areas

I think you found your air leak.
Be careful not to over tighten intake.as that can create an airleak also.
Look up tourqe specs. It not very much

Hey sorry for the late response so i fixed that problem about the revving I was missing a gasket. Now it seems like the blaster is four stroking, would a new carb be able to fix that.
Check your jetting.if it was jetted to that air leak it maybe running rich.

What jets are in it right now? Needle position? How many turns out is the air screw from the lightly seated position. Count the turns in then put it back out the same amount. Air filter good and clean.

I ask because jets don't wear out.
Post your jet #'s. So we can see where your are at . also needle position. There are 5. Ussualy the middle (3rd) position is where you want to be

The jets are the stock size can’t remember at the moment the needle position is in the middle and the air screw is 2 and half turns out just got a new air filter

Are you premixing your gas or using the factory oil injection?
If premixing what ratio?

I don’t have an oil injection
Ok . so somebody deleted the oil injection.
There is a nipple on the clutch side of the. Carb where the oil line used to go.
It should have a block off cap on it. So it doesn't suck air. Is there a rubber cap?
Let me see if i can find a pic
