I got er apart yesterday the bearing on the crank to the rod is bad there is play in that so is this crank junk now? And how about the case there is some scuffing in the area the crank sits the walls look like some metal had shaved off the wall not terrible but I think I can save the case by cleaning it up I’ll post a pic of it later

You can get the oem. Crank rebuilt. Which is a good piece. Or buy a new one

What kind of play does the rod have? Up and down(bad)
Some Side to side is normal
Push rod to one side and insert feeler gauge see what you have. That's if you don't have up down play.

ih yea it’s got Up down play the rod bearings are deffinetly bad but I’m wondering how to get the rod off for a new rod?

Replacing the rod is something best left to a machinist/professional. Runout between the two sides is like .00025” or something like that

Definitely let a machine shop that is setup to do it correctly

It is pressed apart. And pressed together in a jig
