I’m looking for a new carb. I’ve been looking at the VM26-606 carburetor. From what I can tell I would have to change everything? That’s not a big deal as I have new components in the carb that’s in my blaster now. As long as they all would all swap without an issue. Does anyone have any experience with this carb? Thanks!

What carb is in you blaster now? And why are you wanting to change it.?
If your lucky you still have your oem carb. And it can be cleaned.
The problem is the parts don't seem to switch over from the stock carb to the vm26-606

I want to change it because the idle screw is stripped. It is the oem carb. So I cannot idle properly and the blaster is running not so good. After getting on it it just wants to stall. I do have the vitos carb rebuild kit in the carb now.

can you post pics, did you instal the vitos needle? do you know the adjustment for it? and you can rethread the inside of the carb or get a new needle depending on what you stripped. stick with the oem carb and just keep posting your issues in this thread and i'll help you out..i just completely rebuilt my 89 blaster and had the same issues.. its running like a top now..can you post pics of your carb and the vitos mod and the threads that are stripped?

352927688221 This is the item number of the k and l rebuild kit on eBay that’s in the carb now. I thought it was Vito but it’s k&L.

yeah that's totally different brother, thats just a jet kit. you need the tors delete kit..its not expensive and i'll run you through it.

Do you still have the big tors brick on top of the carb .? Idle screws are known to have problems. If so Get a tors delete kit. If you don't already have it.

see those brown and yellow wires on the frame behind the carb,,the ones that use to run to the tors system? what are they connected to?

so what am I doing by doing that?
im not positive cause its hard finding any real info on what those two wires are needed to be connected for,,im guessing just to complete the path after the tors removal..trust me you want to do that,,i'll take pics tomorrow of how I did mine.

So they are cut on one side and disconnected on another side

Your getting there.just Make sure to follow all directions for removing tors. Or you could have problems.

I don’t understand. I thought I was just having a carb issue. It’s ran great before and it still runs.
