I’ve got an 05 blaster the bike was not running when I bought it did a lil carb work was good to go until the bike blew up well I bought a cheap rebuild kit off eBay. I know you don’t have to say anything. Bad choice cause that did not last long. So now I buy a BP racing position just the top end keeps going not the bottom. Ok I port and polished the head put the bike bike together again it last a total of 12 hours of riding time blew up again this time the pistons barring came apart what is the beast piston to run
I have a fox hot coil
Stock exhaust
Fmf silincer
NkgB8es plug
97 fuel 32:1 mix Yama lube 2 stroke oil
Open air box
I think that’s it any help would be much appreciated oh boysen racing reeds just looking for a good top end that won’t come apart on me thanks

It sounds to me like a lean condition that is taking out your top end. Possibly an air leak or wrong jetting.Or Chinese pistons and cylinders ?You need to do a leakdown test on it before you tear it apart . search leakdown test.what carb is in it .take the bowl off and check jet sizes. There will be
Numbers stamped on jets.if no numbers then you are probably another victim of a Chinese carb. They fry topends like you change your underwear

I see you mention 32:1 mix, which is what these engines like and most jetting info is based off of.
you may need to increase the main jet size to compensate for the less fuel / added oil of the mix, a plug chop will tell you.
and is the injection pump and port on the carb blocked off ?

What main jet do you have now? No lid on box needs at least one size bigger main. From what I’ve seen on FB Banshee pages BP is peddling Chi-NA
Other than air leak as mentioned, a strong possibility is that the bore isn’t perpendicular (square) to the crankshaft. When you tear it apart (AFTER leak down test) check the side clearance of the rod at crank.
I’d spend the money to have this put in, before I bought a junk cyl
